submissions, we need them in a5 and black and white, anything at all that fits that will be considered so don't hesitate and get to it, we'll also send the magazine and other turps treats like barnyard scraps, egg shells, bad memories and inconsiderate thoughts.

anyway, turps is a magazine filled with artwork, writing, photography, comics, reviews and other general pieces of creative work. We are based in Newcastle, well, North Shields really.

The magazine will be released monthly, and will feature work from local artists, and work from people further afield. so if you would like to be involved send your contributions to submit@turpsmag.co.uk or if you have any queries, drop us them on info@turpsmag.co.uk
